America could have prevented Iran's retaliation against Israel

The U.S. is calling on the UN security council to condemn Iran's retaliation for Israel bombing their embassy in Syria. The level of hypocrisy is breath-taking.
The U.S. called on the Security Council to condemn Iran’s attack on Israel on Saturday. Wood echoed U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who briefed the council during Sunday’s emergency session.
When Iran sought to condemn Israel for their unprovoked attack, the U.S. and its European allies blocked the security council from acting.
(Reuters) - The United States, Britain and France on Wednesday opposed a Russian-drafted U.N. Security Council statement that would have condemned an attack on Iran's embassy compound in Syria, which Tehran has blamed on Washington's ally Israel.
There is no question that Israel was responsible for the embassy strike. Yet we couldn't bring ourselves to give Iran even the most modest of courtesies by admitting this truth. What happened next is all on us.
(Reuters) - The "imperative for Iran" to retaliate for the attack on its embassy compound in Damascus might have been avoided had the U.N. Security Council condemned the strike, Tehran's mission to the United Nations said on Thursday.
"Had the UN Security Council condemned the Zionist regime’s reprehensible act of aggression on our diplomatic premises in Damascus and subsequently brought to justice its perpetrators, the imperative for Iran to punish this rogue regime might have been obviated," the mission said on the social media platform X.
That seems pretty clear to me.

between Iran and Israel's proxy "The United States of America" that the strike was basically a show of deterrence on Iran's part.
After all, there was plenty of advance warning.
NB: it's weird to talk in terms of "America could have prevented Iran's retaliation against Israel." Stop Pretending Biden Is Some Passive Witness To Israel's Warmongering
If Biden wanted to de-escalate the situation he would have voted to condemn Israel for attacking Iran. Instead he vetoed a just like he has vetoed every ceasefire.

If Biden loses
it will be because Biden has CHOSEN to ignore and dismiss his own base. Of course the Dems have been ignoring its base for decades.
I think there is a real chance that Trump will beat Biden, while at the same time the Dems will beat the GOP in Congress and the state level because of abortion.
Biden has been listening to his actual base as long as he has
been a politician. Unfortunately his base is made up of his wealthy donors many of which are Jewish.

Will Israel counter attack hitting Iran directly? I think so. The country has become a death cult.
