Trump's once in a lifetime opportunity to destroy the Democrats for all time.

Consider the still-evolving story of sedition and treason in addition to the banal but harmful corruption of our political system underlying the Awan Brothers thievery of material (computer stuff) but more importantly information, much of it classified or higher security. The story for those unaware has been told dozens if not hundreds of times in the alternate media, of which we are members. Of course, the Mindless Shite Media (MSM) would have us blissfully unaware of the horror which they now accept without as much as whimper. Pride? WTF is that? Sovereignty? Outmoded. Personal security? A memory of the past. Adequate, living wages? Sinking beneath the waves as we speak.

Representative government? Whazzat? You and I know that the only thing the "representatives" represent is their donors and their own fortune. With very few exceptions in either party may I say "Fuck Them All". Damn, I just did!

In my opinion, all 435 members of Congress should get the boot, even the ones we may like (such as Tulsi) to get a new bunch. Yet this essay is not about governmental reform. Instead it is about a drastic remake of our existing governance. Would the change I will suggest makes us a better nation? I don't know but the status quo is intolerable. In addition to poverty afflicting half the population, the very idea of Amerikkkan exceptionalism is revolting. What almighty being ordained that the US is to be puppet master to the world, bringing war, destruction and death wherever it wishes?

Duopoly is the name of the rigged game. Heads I win; tails, you lose. Both political syndicates, which should each be prosecuted under RICO laws, have long outlived their usefulness. In fact, Jefferson wisely foresaw the danger in having two political parties maintain control of the government. Boy! Was he ever correct.

Donald Trump is the most unpopular President we've ever had at this stage in his term. Yet Hillary Goddam Klinton is even more disliked and untrustworthy according to most Americans. Hillary "It ain't my fault that I lost" is so out of touch that she doesn't realize how much people outside DC and NYC hate and despise her. Nor does she even give a damn.

The too-close association with the DemonRATic establishment with Medusa has tainted and split the party irrevocably. The establishment either refuses to observe this or disbelieves it entirely. So they don't give a damn either. They don't mind that about half of registered party voters Demexited. Most of these voters will not be coming back to the D party, ever.

The congressional and senatorial members with the Donkey label fail to realize that they are representing a hollow shell of what used to be a political party. In 2018, expect further dissolution.

And here is where Donald Trump has a great opportunity as well as significant personal danger. The Awan brothers, brother-in-law, two wives and a sidekick--none of whom are American citizens--found themselves in the MOST ADVANTAGEOUS position to harm this country--even worse than neoliberalism or neoconservatism. Due to the folly, avarice and plain incompetence of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, these Pakistani information poachers had access to secure information from members of the most important Congressional committees. DWS didn't give a single thought to giving Imran Awan the password to her iPad, which even other aides did not have. Just imagine what nuggets were on her iPad, let alone her PCs and Blackberries.

For some as yet unknown reason, DWS convinced or forced other Democratic House members to employ the Awans at multiple other offices. The usual figure of Dems who were used by the Awans (and really not the other way around) is 80. When the truth emerges about the scope of these data breaches, it will be quite evident to even lax citizens that DWS and the DNC and almost certainly HRC, sold this country out. (Actually Medusa sold our country out to those "hated" Russians when releasing 20% of US uranium reserves to the Bear).

When the reality of so much secret and above material was intercepted and transmitted for further dissemination to other countries hits home--the blame will fall squarely on those DumbocRATs who hired these con artists. Although I am not a lawyer, it would appear that all 80 (or more) are guilty of sedition: "giving aid or comfort to our enemies". A legal probe, if run with integrity (a very, very rare Washington commodity) would result in dismissal from congress, either by expulsion or arrest. Sounds reminiscent of Stalin's Politburo purges perhaps. But whereas Stalin was a bonafide paranoid psychopath, HRC is a non-paranoid narcissistic psychopath.

So why doesn't Trump hurry Sessions into doing his job of investigating these Awan leaks? Because Trump's life would be in jeopardy like the CIA-delivered bullets (plural) in the head awarded to JFK for trying to do something similar--break up the deep state.

Now, we are forced to delve into the land of unicorns and fairy dust. Should such an unlikely wholesale dispatch of pseudo representatives occur, the DemonRATic party would in a single brief stroke of Justice be so marginalized as to not represent enough votes to do a damn thing. Such an occurrence would open up room for third and perhaps more political parties.

But the Republicans will be split on taking this action. Perhaps because they are being blackmailed also or the "dirt" against them is also horrendous. Here, I am not just talking about bad policies (when since Reagan have Republicans made any good policies?). There have been numerous congressional Repugnants advising against "going too far" with such a probe (as currently being considered as just being about HRC). If Trump does what could be able to do, don't be surprised if the NeverTrumpers disassociate themselves from the Trumpistas. So this could add an additional political party to the mix.

Here is background information on the Awans, already published at c99:

that the donee is an enemy. Legally, it probably requires official designation of "enemy".

BTW, many people think comfort means nice words. In law it means giving physical harbor, not "feel good" words. "Aid" means material aid and it has to be done knowingly as does the "comfort".

If you knowingly give a spy a safe house that is comfort. If you give him a password, knowing that you shouldn't, it's aid. But doing either on orders of those higher in the hierarchy isn't treason unless you know they are spies.

@The Voice In the Wilderness Si, if after Feb. 2, 2017 any congressperson continued to use the Awans' IT service, they would be guilty of giving aid to foreign agents. Is being a foreign agent equivalent to being a spy or merely a potential spy? Is doing business, i.e., allowing secure data access to a prohibited source a violation of the espionage act by the lesser of the two standards, negligently allowing national security to pass into unauthorized possession of a person not legally permitted to have such information?

@Alligator Ed

As an agent of Germany. Angela Merkel is a foreign agent. There are limits on what data can be given to a foreign national, a little tighter than classified.

Buyers for KSA's military have to register as foreign agents but are not considered spies. Officially, that is.

They seem to be doing a bang up job of it all on their own.

Whenever they have a chance to make the right move (one that is actually good for their constituents or the Nation) they always choose the wrong move (the one that benefits their corporate sponsors.).

Every!

Fucking!

Time!

How any self respecting progressive with even a modicum of brains could continue to not only be a member of, but an active supporter of the Democratic Party is beyond me.

And judging by their behavior, the only ones left are at best mindless sheep and at worst outright hypocrites who just want to wear that D on their shoulder as more of a, "See! I might be rich but I am cool so I am one of the good ones!" sign.

of the 28% of voters remaining in that failed party I would say a generous estimate would be maybe 5% of them are only still there because they still believe they can change the party from the inside.

The rest? Well, all you got to do is look at fools like that BBB over at TOP to see that they are perfectly happy with the status quo and are nothing more than fiscal conservatives but somewhat (at least on paper) socially liberal.

We used to joke that Libertarians are just republicans that like pot, but I suggest that modern democrats are just Republicans that like "Social justice". (Whatever the fuck that even means anymore)

Oh and money. Lots and lots of money.

Well, other than some propagandized ones who think all the bad stuff is some sort of right-wing/Russian!!! plot and are not big on (long-discouraged) critical thinking, rather a lot of paid trolls and the corrupt ones benefiting from the corruption and quite likely paying for at least some of it. extremely hypocritical and lacking in principle. If a Democrat does it; it's great. If a Republican does the same thing; it's awful. If a Republican does an awful thing and a Democrat does the same thing next week; it's wonderful.

Republicans may be the very same way. I just don't know. I don't hang with Republicans.

I think he just doesn't care that much. Trump is really more an opportunist than a Republican. I don't think he really has the passionate hate the rank and file Republicans do (it wasn't that long ago he was palling with the Clintons and wasn't he a Democrat for a while?) and I think he's aware enough to realize The Dems/Clintons serve as useful villains when he needs to rally the voters.

But, how long will it take to get the story out?

Heard that he was with Seth Rich the evening that he was murdered

I think that there is more in the Seth story -- e.g., why would Kim Dotcom in the sights of the US "justice" system say that he was in contact with Seth, and Kim suggests that Seth leaked the emails

There is a full court effort to shut this story down and attack Fox news but ...

The right wing will love this story, unless, unless, as noted in this article, it exposes too much of the deep state and the establishment has to protect that at all costs.

Meanwhile this new story about the DNC and Debbie W S and this leads to the Clintons

@DonMidwest has been debunked.

1. The party, held at Lou's City Bar as pictured, was in April, 2016, not in July

2. The bearded man in the background has been identified as one of Seth Rich's buddies from Omaha.

story, which was later retracted.

(The story came down to my cell phone this a.m.) Full disclosure, I'm totally illiterate on this issue. Just thought I'd provide it since others have shown interest in the Richards case.

This info's come out as a result of Rod Wheeler's law suit.

Lawsuit claims Trump involvement in retracted Fox story on Seth Rich
BY JOE CONCHA - 08/01/17 10:39 AM EDT

A lawsuit filed in federal court claims a Fox News report about slain Democratic National Committee (DNC) staffer Seth Rich was reviewed prior to publication by President Trump and manipulated at the request of the White House.

The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in New York by a private investigator and Fox contributor who says his quotes in the story, which was later retracted, were fabricated by Fox.

“Fox News was working with the Trump administration to disseminate fake news in order to distract the public from Russia’s alleged attempts to influence our Country’s presidential election,” states the lawsuit filed by Rod Wheeler, a former Washington, D.C., homicide detective who investigated Rich’s death. . . .

Everyone thinks they have the best dog, and none of them are wrong.

@Unabashed Liberal

Funny in a sick kinda way, maybe... Rich's death's naturally related to Russian!!! guilt for 'hacking' leaked important information which the voting American public had every right to know prior to the election.

Releasing evidence of corruption relating to a Presidential candidacy definitely is a patriotic act, whether those involved in the corruption agree or not. Not that Clinton hadn't already been shedding voters she didn't believe were actually required, since she was 'owed votes' even if she had to make them up herself, via her lackeys and paymasters.

or at least that is what people are going to think. The real question will be who the Awans were selling info to: the Chinese? the Israelis? If the story gets out far enough Hillbots will claim the Russians and DWS will be looking up at bus tires. If this happens the Democratic Party will cease to exist after the 2018 election.
Trump has the key. If he manages the information flow properly - and it won't be that hard - he can, and will, save democracy. Isn't that ironic?

@doh1304 , the information was going to the Clinton cartel first and foremost. Obviously it was also going to Pakistani intelligence as well, but we don't know whether or not the latter was with Clinton blessings.
