Wikileaks releases hacked DNC voicemails

On the third day of the Democratic National Convention, when President Barack Obama and vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine are scheduled to speak, WIkileaks has released hacked voicemails from top Democratic officials.

The new material from the pro-transparency publisher includes 29 phone calls, totaling about 14 minutes. Many of them are complaints directed at the Democratic National Committee.

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange warned CNN there would be "a lot more material" to come, following the publishing of hacked Democratic National Committee internal emails this past Friday.

Sample Call:

"I’m furious about what you are doing for Bernie Sanders," a caller from the 480 area code, which covers Phoenix, Arizona, said in one voicemail message. "He is getting way too much influence. I am on fixed income and I spent over $300 donated to Hillary, and what I see is the DNC bending over backwards for Bernie. And Bernie is the worst person in the world even to be running in a Democratic party because he is not a Democratic. Please don’t give into him. I don’t care about Sanders supporters, most of them are going to vote for Hillary anyway. Quit acquiescing to this person who likes to play the victim card, and who also has been attacking Hillary which gives Trump all his talking points. I will leave the Democratic Party if the Democratic Party continues to coddle Bernie Sanders. Get rid of the a**hole."

Call 2038 is Gloria Allred - she'll phone back.

Most of these are nothing at all - a name, they'll call back.

16651 is a member channeling her inner Hillary, calling to saying Bernie should not be allowed to speak in Philly.

WikiLeaks releases hacked DNC voicemails

One caller with an Arizona area code called to blast the DNC for putting Sanders surrogate Cornel West on the platform drafting committee.

“I’m furious for what you are doing for Bernie Sanders,” another caller says in a message. “He’s getting way too much influence.

“What I see is the Democratic Party bending over backwards for Bernie,” adds the caller, who threatens to leave the party if the DNC doesn’t stop “coddling” the Vermont senator.

And, they did by bringing him up front and on stage to endorse. Very sad to see this happen to my once beloved Senator.

There is no justice. There can be no peace.

There is information in many different formats tucked inside of the information in the emails. He said it was a treasure trove of information that would take good journalists a year to search and unpack.

is Assange releasing emails with DNC people ragging on Sanders? Is that all there is?

Seriously? WTF??

If Wikileaks has a trove of stuff, they're probably making Clinton and the DNC crowd sweat. If they have voicemails from nobodies, then you know they have voicemails from bigwigs too. And those bigwigs are probably sweating, wondering what voicemails or phone calls of theirs could see the light of day.

A constant barrage of outrages, coming straight from the donkeys' mouths, would make the Cold War excusifying and the lame charges that emails were edited crumble pretty fast. The Clinton campaign could look like the Byzantines cowering behind the walls of Constantinople as the Ottoman siege cannons start to fire.

had this "treasure trove" of emails a couple of months ago. If he did and didn't release them until now, well, fuck him.

there may be calls (like the one shown) that gave the DNC some of its talking points against Sanders. That may be why they have been released...for someone to connect the dots.

These may be orders from very large donors - a $300 donation from someone on an actual fixed income isn't really a large donor, is it, for the Clinton campaign, with a scam worked out to get (I think it was) somewhere around $700,000 from individuals for Clinton's campaign, through the DNC? Unless that was some sort of identifying code, to keep the actual big donor's name out of any leaks?

There will be something in there of great interest, or they wouldn't be releasing them.

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.

A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.

Wonder how many were calls from elites to put ideas in place? they do not seem like calls from regular folks.

One call from Bill Stetson (this is 16307) seems to indicate that whoever's voicemail this is, they are the Director of Scheduling at the DNC. Useful context to have for some of these voicemails.

16484 is from some "Bill Echo" who received a call from DWS about a small private dinner with President Obama.

16607 comes from Cliff Levine, lawyer from Pennsylvania:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/clifford-levine-81334730
" I am currently serving as one of Hillary Clinton's designated representative for PA matters in the 2016 election."

11047 is a phone call from a woman sounding very concerned about the ongoings in Philly, and speaking in VERY vague terms (felt like someone who was unsure who was listening) about 'whether or not [the person she called thought] it was still a good idea to.... advise.' She then calls back several other times, leaving short, concerned messages asking for a callback. Strange.

I've not listened to them all yet, but I think there is far more here than meets the eye - or I guess in this case, the ear.
