I propose the following:
Option A:
Bernie inspired millions of Americans with the enlightenment about the corruptocracy. People got enthused like never before. He seemed to be steering the Ship of State away from the giant iceberg, which Hillary's Titanic was sailing toward. Well, TPTB punched many holes in the S.S. Sanders so that it began to sink--even though it was heading away from the iceberg. What happened to Bernie caused by his near-drowning experience?
Throughout the Democratic primary, many raised doubts as to the impartiality of the process. These doubts stemmed primarily from grievances regarding systemic issues like superdelegates and closed primaries as well as concerns surrounding the Party Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who had co-chaired Clinton’s primary run in 2008. The media’s seemingly slanted coverage only added to suspicions.
This diary is simply a pointer to the best article I’ve read on the plight of organized labor in the US. I would urge you to read it in full if you have an interest in labor, unions, or the working class as a whole. It presents a good explanation for why the organized labor has been eviscerated in this country and an excellent explanation for why organized labor is essential to maintain a strong, secure working class.

"I question her judgement voting for the war in Iraq, the worst foreign policy in the history of this country," he said.
He then went on to attack the former first lady for voting for "virtually every disastrous trade agreement."
Hi all,
From In these times Remembering Michael Harrington, A Heroic Democratic Socialist Leader
The system I speak about is the composite of political, economic and other facets of our world. We have seen it from a political perspective and this is myopic at best.
The latest threat to its stability was the disturbance caused by Bernie Sanders. The threat was not that he might become elected but that his words would really change people. Yes they did change people but not many in a way that really matters.
Bernie knew from the start that he was going to have a difficult, if not impossible task of beating the Clinton political machine.
But he campaigned as a Democrat in an effort to reform the Demonic Party from within.
This, I knew from the start would probably be an impossible task. His political demise was engineered by the malignant Democratic corporatocracy.
