The Washington Post released a poll the other day with an unsurprising headline: Poll: Trump’s performance lags behind even tepid public expectations
Last week I posted this essay about how unhappy the AFL-CIO is about being taken for granted by the Democratic Party for decades.
The partisan Democratic echo chambers may be dancing the jig right now, but I remember how the Iran-Contra Scandal didn't help with Dems win the White House in 1988. Nor did the Clinton impeachment help the Repubs win the 1998 mid-term elections.
Progressives around the country have been shaking up the Democratic Party and most Democratic voters support them.
This is good news for the United States of America:
Progressives all over the country are mobilized.
They've beaten establishment candidates in Birmingham, Alabama and Jackson, Mississippi, and may soon do the same in Atlanta, Georgia and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
I was reading this Politico article when I realized that this sounded very familiar.
The People's Convergence had their um, convergence, last weekend. A couple reports follow, one from the Green Party, one from the World Socialist website.
