When a lie is exposed, most folks stop repeating it
...but not 'our' girl, Hillary.
This 'misstatement' really does boggle the mind. Since she got the story right in her book, should we assume that their was a ghost author for that?
So, someone close to me was unaware of the Bosnia Sniper Fire canard, and I went looking for CBS video where they correct the record:
I was on Chrome and went searching on YouTube for the above video under 'Hillary Sniper Fire' and I got an error message and no results. I had not realized YouTube had been acquired by Google until that moment.

Nash told me he was unaware of any security threat to Clinton during her eight-hour stay in Tuzla. He said, however, that Clinton had a "busy schedule" and may have got the impression that she was being hurried.
Sinbad, who provided entertainment on the trip along with singer Sheryl Crow, said the "scariest" part was deciding where to eat. As he told Mary Ann Akers of washingtonpost.com, "I think the only 'red phone' moment was 'Do we eat here or at the next place?' " He questioned the premise behind the Clinton version of events. "What kind of president would say 'Hey, man, I can't go 'cause I might get shot, so I'm going to send my wife. Oh, and take a guitar player and a comedian with you'?"
Replying to Sinbad earlier this week, Clinton dismissed him as "a comedian." Her campaign referred me to Togo West, who was also on the trip and is a staunch Clinton supporter. West could not remember "sniper fire" himself but said there was no reason to doubt the first lady's version of events. "Everybody's perceptions are different," he told me.

She simply does not hold press conferences.
Imagine four years of no press conferences ... And all of the Hillary Zombies saying that they don't see any problem with that, because otherwise she would simply be open to right-wing attacks ...

Someone's going to have to tell Her Highness
that you can't go through four years without a press conference.
Fast moving events, emergencies will require her presence before cameras and journalists, live. Answering questions, unscripted.
And then there are the standard, routine events.
That must be quite the bubble she thinks she lives in.
She's not going to be able to just sit in the Big House twiddling her thumbs, moving her server to spots more fitting with the furniture, demanding GUM from Huma, and watching Bill redecorate the Lincoln Room.

yes, things happen that call for explanations. If Hills becomes President I expect her to simply make statements, then leave with no questions being taken.

One set who knows better and say it anyway because they'd prefer it to be true and it SOUNDS GOOD (to them) and the other set who do NOT know better and are just looking for Kool Aid refills.
The subset who really piss me off are the ones who see through her crap in general but think that the only other choice is Trump, so Hillary it is.
