Lady Gaga, BIG disappointment (at least to me).
I thought Lady Gaga was smarter than this, was more caring about The People. Nope, I was wrong.
Lady Gaga, Lenny Kravitz and DJ Jazzy Jeff are set to headline a concert at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, next Thursday for Democratic convention delegates and invited guests, hours before Hillary Clinton is set to be formally nominated.
Although the convention is taking place in Philadelphia this year, Camden is only minutes away on the opposite side of the Delaware River.

The pop superstar endorsed Clinton early in her candidacy and has voiced her support for the former secretary of state throughout the 2016 election.
No wonder the DNC ended up begging for money. They're paying all these top market performers and for these huge venues. Why? What does Gaga have to do with anything? Nothing.
Yes, Camden is "minutes away," but it costs ten of thousands, if not more, for the venue, the buses, the tolls to get from Philadelphia to Camden, and then back again to hotels that are in the City proper and those hotels that are 20-30 miles away.

When I say that Gaga is a disappointment to me,
I mean that she has been great on many important issues, but not this one. She's just another millionaire supporting another millionaire. I shouldn't be surprised, and I'm not.

Not surprised at all about this. A lot of the divides in the election break down along economic class and age. I don't know about DJ Jazzy Jeff, but Gaga and Lenny Kravitz aren't exactly working class heroes.
