Stein--New Mexico, Arizona Polling and Idaho Ballot Update

More movement today on the Jill Stein front.

Idaho officially has it's signatures filed now, and reports are that the number of signatures needed (1,000 I believe) have already been counted and verified by the state internally, but verification continues with the additional signatures submitted. We should hear about Stein gaining ballot access in Idaho in the very near future. This is pretty much a sure thing now.

Also, new polling coming out of Arizona today shows Stein support at 4% (CNN), which is up from 2% in a CBS/YouGov poll two weeks ago. Again, it's good to see the climbing.

New Mexico was polled essentially for the first time, and Stein is polling at 4% there as well (PPP).

Although Texas is problematic with 2% support, at least it seems Stein is polling better in the southwest!

but I don't think anybody NOT a Republican is going to win TX. They're kind of like the MD of the GOP.

4 more to go.

Yeah, if only, right? Though, if polls went like that, would the Dem and Repub candidates have to bar themselves from their debates, as per their rules? Or was that 15% threshold only for 3rd parties?

There was mention of Johnson, but not Stein. This dovetails with the results of my little survey over at TOP the other day, where I found about 60/40 preference for right wingers over Stein.

I might pick Johnson over Clinton because of his foreign policy and drug positions, but how anyone who cares about humanity and the planet could pick him over Stein is beyond me.
