Jeez, amy goodman; again with the White Helmets propaganda?

She’s good on some issues, but others…my stars.  H/t to Tony Cartalucci on Twitter (3-parts) for the heads-up.

Ukraine's Presidential Elections: March 31

And boy, it’s likely be a wild ride, especially as the World is Watching, the West is already interfering in the election, and Ukrainian politics can get pretty er…kinetic, as in how many ‘Rumbles in the Rada’ have we seen post-Maidan?

As of today there are still 39 candidates vying for the job, and euronews.com claims that this piece contains ‘everything you need to understand about key poll’.  (Even though it’s manifestly biased against Russia and Yanukovitch who’d ‘fled’ as Maidan Uprsings, etc., but still kinda fun) including their category:

the US Bomb Iran for Peace Conference in Warsaw

The Trump administration had originally called the conference to bring Washington in from its isolation for having shredded its participation in the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action ‘allies’ of Amerika have found detrimental, as well as the increasing sanctions on Iran for which they’re creating alternatives for doing business with ‘the Pariah Terrorist Nation’ (NSTEX, for Instrument in Support of Trade Exchanges”.

the ‘Great Competitor China’: in Africa

This is indeed a bit of a tome as I reckon it needs to be given the subject matter, but I’ll offer a shortcut in a bit.  I’d like to start with ‘The Bolton Speech on Africa: A Case of the Wolf and the Foxes’, Ajamu Baraka, Dec. 19, BAR.com, and will quote liberally for background, and since BAR content is all CC.  (click image for larger)

flip-city news from Ukraine & Crimea

This is the War and Peace of the ‘War, No Peace allowed’ in one of the Nato-repurposed  2.0  cold war proxy wars against Russia.  I know it’s long, but it’s all of a puzzle.  Given its length, were I a reader, I’d focus on the Ukraine/Russian warships story, as a hella lot’s gonna break tomorrow, including at the UN. So far Vladimir Putin and Sergei Lavrov have refused to be drawn into responding to threats of war against The Bear, but what might be the flexion point?  Given that, I’ve chosen to give some background to what’s afoot already.  Yeppers, it’s all copy/paste, but transposing is even more impossible in my haste.

The time is at hand. I am going to war.

There are times in life when decisions must be made. This determination has been gnawing at me for some time and has led to a deep feeling of emptiness in my gut. There is only one way to extricate this feeling from my being. Only one way to fulfill the hunger pangs of my soul. I must go to war.

With fork and knife in hand, I will, on this very day, Thursday 11-22-2018, be attacking, turkey. Lying there, smug in its wonderful aroma, adorned in splendid golden brown armor, prodding me, nay, insisting that I cross the line of table demarcation and carve it into various balkanized sections of deliciousness. I will then devour and digest its very existence and adsorb it unto myself. It is there for my taking, it is destiny. For this I give thanks.

But, as with this time every year, I will also be going to war with myself.

once upon a time we gave Peace a Chance

(Pershing II missiles being transported away from a US base in Heilbronn)

Will John Bolton rescind it?  By all accounts he was the maniac who’s convinced his Boss Tweet to pull out of the INF (Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces treaty).  Bolton will be in Moscow today and tomorrow and will discuss (cough) the issue with Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov, National Security Advisor Nikolay Patrushev,  FM Sergei Lavrov, and possibly Vladamir Putin on Tuesday.

an exposé of Pierre’s Intercept by the excellent Whitney Webb

(the ‘Bana’ psyop holding a bellincat T-shirt)

In my ‘All the Manufactured News That’s Fit to Believe™’, wd, Oct. 3, 2018; Café version, C99% version, I’d mentioned that the Intercept had done at least four four smears of Julian Assange, glorified the White Helmets psyop, and had featured this Tweet by Sharmine Narwani: “When @TheIntercept sounds exactly like the NY Times: Resident Syrian-nun-basher Jeremy Scahill interviews “leftist” Noam Chomsky who calls #Syria‘s jihadi-busting govt a “murderous regime” & thinks US troops should remain illegally in the sovereign state”  with this link to the Intercept.  I hadn’t checked the dates as to whether or not some were after WikiLeaks had published the CIA Vaults 7 and 8, come to think of it.  But certainly after those publications was when WikiLeaks was thrown off the anonymyzing donations funneled through the Freedom of the Press Foundation that Julian, Michael Ratner, and a couple others had started.
